If you’ve been neglecting the Diamond Casino, now’s the time to get acquainted. You need to own the penthouse inside the building before you gain access to the Cayo Perico heist. You can purchase the penthouse for a minimum of $1.5 million from your in-game phone, or by speaking to the Guest Services desk inside the lobby of the casino.

Once you’ve confirmed your ownership, you will gain access to the Music Locker club. You’ll find this new area in the casino’s basement. Look for Miguel Midrazo, who is marked on your map with a large ‘M,’ in the VIP section of the club. When you approach him, a cutscene will play, and this triggers the beginning of the heist.

Buy a submarine

Your next job is to buy a sub (not the sandwich). Open your phone and check out the Warstock Cache & Carry page, and notice the new listing for a Kosatka submarine. This will be your new hub for the Cayo Perico heist, and you will need at least $2.2 million to make the purchase. Hopefully, you’ve been hanging on to those login bonuses.

Now that you’re the proud new owner of a submarine, you should check out the interior. You should get a phone call from Pavel confirming that your sub is ready to use. Your sub is located on your map just like any other vehicle. Head to the eastern portion of Los Santos and hop in, starting another cutscene with your captain, Pavel.
